PREMIERE CUVEE Winemaking: Ageing in French oak barrels for 12 months in underground cellars (30% new barrels and 70% used for 1 or 2 previous vintages) in order to obtain a good balance between the wine's powerful, full-bodied side and the understated oak that contributes to a round, smooth aftertaste. A wine to enjoy with meat and soft-ripened cheeses. Ageing potential: depending on the vintage, from 8-10 years, but pleasant to drink after 4 years. |
